Holms Troelstrup is currently the Sutherland Fellow in Poetry at Illinois State University and will be completing her Master's in Creative Writing this May. Her winning piece "Within Mutiny" is one of her first attempts at short-fiction, but certainly not the last. Outside of school Holms can be found bartending at a local irish pub or hanging out with her chocolate lab Cook. Originally from Oak Park, Illinois, Holms plants roots, and a tomato and cucumber garden, wherever she goes.
