We are honored to share that the Guild Literary Complex has been selected as one of 12 organizations nationwide to receive a Sustainable Futures Grant from the Poetry Foundation. This multi-year general operating support grant will provide $225,000 over three years, helping us continue and expand our work in amplifying underrepresented voices and building inclusive literary spaces.
The Sustainable Futures Grants program represents a powerful shift in national arts philanthropy, offering unrestricted support and professional development to poetry organizations committed to equity and community. We’re proud to be part of this inaugural cohort alongside peers who are shaping the future of poetry through publishing, education, residencies, and community-based programming.
As we look ahead, this grant gives us not just financial stability, but the freedom to imagine and build more sustainable, innovative, and collaborative projects—right here in Chicago and beyond.
