Guild Literary Complex

New Guild Executive Director: Introducing Lisa Wagner

Following an intensive search, the Guild Literary Complex has hired a new Executive Director, Lisa Wagner.  She will start her new position on December 7.

Lisa has been very involved in the literature and art scene in Chicago. For the past three years, she has been Managing and Associate Editor of the journal Hotel Amerika.  In addition, she founded and has been the Managing Editor of the press Intrinsic Books.

Most recently, Lisa was Executive Director of the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, where she worked extensively with the community to create the successful summer street fair Argyle Nights, and launch the first Chicago Book Expo.

Lisa and the Guild Complex already know each other very well, as she coordinated our very successful BrooksDay event this summer.

We are thrilled that Lisa is joining our organization. Please make be sure to introduce yourself to her at an upcoming Guild Complex event.
