Volunteers are vital to the Guild Literary Complex’s efforts, and through volunteering you will have the opportunity to meet new people and learn about Chicago’s vibrant literary scene up close and personal.
Our volunteers help with tasks ranging from programming to operations. Some examples have included: helping us find venues and artists for our events, manning a ticket table, donating design expertise, cooking appetizers for a reception, and introducing us to community leaders, arts organizations and donors.
In addition, our Board of Directors are equally vital to our activities by volunteering their time, talents and resources. They partner with the Guild’s staff to guide programming and operations, steward the Guild’s resources, and act as ambassadors for the Guild’s mission and programming.
